By the hands of a Brazilian who got himself into the mess of only wanting to write in English to reach the maximum number of people, and got more then 100 times mocked and criticized by his pears for it; known on the streets as the Klopper, codename Raphael.

Thus The Right Way was born, from the tireless addiction to consume films in all its shapes and forms, next to the voracious desire for the critical expression about each one of them. That goes far beyond technical praise, but also trying to touch the heart of what the films discussed here have to express between the lines, and where they get it right or wrong. Be advised for a bunch of behemoth reviews and a lot of gushing about anything envolving Westerns and Noirs being my personal favourite genres, but my taste ranges from the galaxy far far away, to the miracle that Dreyer commits at the end of Ordet. 

 

Subjectivity, of course, is a vital element that will try to be present when it comes to approaching topics and allowing a potential discussion to be drawn from them. Because at the heart of it all, my jabbering might just speak about a personal vision. But if done correctly, and accepted by you dear reader. then I've done the proper critic work! Not trying to indoctrinate you about what you should think about the film based on this or the importance it has on that; but rather, like all art, its expression, how it communicates, what one can take it from and can instigate you to do the same!
